DIGANTA INVESTMENT & FINANCE COMPANY LIMITED (DIGANTA FINANCE) is a company incorporated under Companies Act, 1956, in the year 1992. the company has obtained certification of Registration from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) with a eligibility to accept public deposit for conducting Hire-Purchase Finance business.

RBI has reclassified Hire-Purchase companies as Asset Finance companies. An Asset Finance company is a Financial Institutions carrying on as it’s principal business the financing of physical assets supporting productive/economic activity such as automobiles, tractors, lathe machines, generators, earth moving and material handling equipments moving on own power and general purpose industrial machines.

The company is presently concentrating it’s activity in Hire-Purchase financing of two-wheelers. It is catering to a niche segment which is generally not served by organized banking sector. The company would like to position its financial products and services between the organized banking sector and local money lenders.
